According to the National Nuitrition Council, the theme for the 2025 philippine Nutrition Month is "Food at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na pagkain, Karapatan Natin!" This theme explains that access in healthy and nutritious food is a prioriy and right of each individual in the national and local government. The theme states that food and nutrition security should be always on top of all levels. Being healthy and nutritious is important because it enables a longer, more fulfilling life with enhanced physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
In our school, the TLE Club come up with different activities for the celebration of Nutrition Month. I and my two other classmates joined Salad-Making Contest. I also witnessed the other activities, like the Nutri-Jingle Contest where I supported my classmates into. They come up with this activities in order to teach students how to live a healthy lifestyle through healthy diet, exercising, and limiting processed foods. Healthy food provides a wide range of benefits, including preventing chronic diseases, boosting energy levels, improving mood, and supporting overall well-being. It can also help with weight management, enhance physical performance, and even improve sleep quality. Yes, junk foods and other unhealthy foods tastes good but we need to avoid/lessen eating it because it is not healthy and it can give negative effect in our body.
In order to be healthy and strong, we should make it our priority. A healthy lifestyle can lead to better quality of life, impacting relationships and productivity positively. Adapting a healthy lifestyle can provide you with enough energy to carry out daily activities without getting tired easily. With a balanced intake of nutrients and regular exercise, your body will feel more fit and energized. Take good care of your body and life, don't take it for granted.
